Character Background and Description Chang Yin is one of the more popular and known members of the Brookhaven PD. He has been on the force for 20 years now and knows a lot about how the Kulza Family Mafia operates and runs its business (or at least he thinks so). He’s a smart cop, and though the Brookhaven PD has definitely not achieved much in the past ten years of hunting down this mafia, many of their minor successes can at least partially be attributed to Chang. He is a smart officer and knows enough to make some clever moves against what is essentially an over prepared enemy.
He has a wife and kids and therefore has plenty to fight for in this city. Though he doesn’t live in the Old Town area, he knows plenty of people who do and has contacts and friends who he is motivated to clean the streets for.
Despite how successful Chang might be as an individual officer, his appearance and demeanor scream “cranky old man”, and he’s seen his fair share of failures damage the lives of those around him. He has taken a couple bullets himself, though nothing serious or crippling, and knows the dangers of fighting such a well-formed and organized mafia.
